I hear it every day. People go to wealth seminars, business building seminars, self development seminars and up spending anything from $/€200 up to $/€3000 on the "ultimate life freedom, work from home in your underwear, drink exotic drinks on far away beaches" type products.

But They Said That I would Be Successful

The sales people/guru's promise you will be successful, you will have an income of $2,000 or more within weeks etc etc etc. I believe in our parents time these people were referred to as snake oil sales men:
"A product that has been proven to not live up to the vendor's marketing hype. The term comes from the 1800s in which elixirs and potions of all kinds, even ones that supposedly included the oils from snakes, were sold as a cure for everything that ailed a person."

It seems they are still around but are now called internet marketers ;).

Ok yes I may seem cynical however you need to know the reality:

You can't start from nothing and make millions overnight
You need to have a solid foundation to begin to make money online
You need to work hard to get to where you want to be
You need to know where you want to be!
You must be able to crawl before you walk, before you run

Before we continue let me say:

That's the basic formula for success in any business

Let's delve deeper into this:
You must set out a goal for your online business, for example
"I want to earn to earn an extra $/€1000 per month"

My next questions are how will you do this?

What will you sell?
Who will you sell it to?
For how much?
How will you deliver the products?
How will you get traffic to your site (the number one killer!)
How will you follow up with customers?

Oh There's More To It Then Jumping Straight In

Yes it's true there is more to it, however in my experience 90% of people don't plan what they want to do, and have no idea how they are getting there. So when I ask them could you go down to the bank with your business plan and get them to invest in your business they begin to squirm and feel uncomfortable, in fact some end the conversation there and then.

But Where Do I Start?

For me you have to start with your goals. You have to know what you want and then plan out how you will get it.

Let's say you want to earn an extra $/€1000 a month how will you do it?

The thing most people do (ie the wrong way) is that they purchase the rights to some "earn money online" products and then resell them without ever having made money themselves!

They buy the same products as everyone else, put up the same sales letter as everyone else and then get the same results as everyone else, ie no sales!

FACT - The Money Make Market Is Saturated

Not only this but can you honestly sell something to other people that you yourself have not tried or are not successful in? To me this is not right!

So what can you do and what can you sell?

Within my coaching program I get people to look at what they know and what they love, and then we begin to plan help them create products or services around this knowledge.

For example if you love deep sea fishing you could begin to build a website about that and promote products and earn affiliate commissions.

Once you've become successful you can then look at other niches and begin to promote them.

But How Can I Produce A Product Online?

Good questions and one that stops so many people before they even start! Creating your product is quite simple, however you need to know:

How to create a website
How to take online payments
How to deliver the product
What to do next!

To be honest known of the above is very difficult once you have the proper training. And it's not that expensive either!

Ok let's tackle the first thing how to create the product.

There's a system that people use online and offline to reduce the product costs and product development time. It's something called re-badging or Private Label Rights.

This is used by major companies and major retailers. In a nut shell you buy a ready made product and then buy the rights to it so that you can call it your own.

So who uses Private Label Rights?

Microsoft used it early on in the beginning of the World Wide Web. They did not have time to compete with firefox so they bought the rights to an internet browser and rebadged it as their own.
Supermarkets use it all the time with their "own brand" products - do you really think they set up manufacturing plants for each of their lines? Heck no! They talk to manufacteurs and buy the rights to put the already made products into their packaging.
